Achievement in 20th Punjab State male /female Sparring and Muye Taekwondo Championship

GIPS students are always on way of success. 20 students again made a record of achievements in 20th Punjab State( age below 6 years to above 17 years). Male /female Sparring and Muye Taekwondo championship which was held in Golden Bells School Sec -77 Mohali on Dec 2-3-2017 under the guidance of the coach Mr. Manjinder Singh . The championship was promoted by Punjab Taekwondo Association GIPS 11 students Mandeep Singh, Jatinder Singh Mehakpreet Kaur, Jasmeen Kaur,Chahat Somra, Arshpreet Singh , Abhijot Singh, Harjashan Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Jagdeep Singh, and Mansi underweight category below 33 kg to over 81 kg made their school and parents proud by taking Gold medal, seven students Harpreet Kaur, Harmanpreet Kaur, Paramveer Singh , Jai Singh Amneet Singh, Navdeep Kaur and Jashanpreet Kaur brought laurels as they all got silver medals under 33 to 47 kg weight category. 10 students earned Bronze medals under below 33 kg to 51 kg weight category. Nameof Bronze medal holders are Paramvir Singh, Amneet Kaur, and Tanish Kapoor, kamalpreet Kaur, Harshpreet Kaur, Jasmeet Kaur, Jaspreet Kaur, Harkirat Singh, Manish, Karanveer Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Hardeep Singh, Harmanjeet Kaur, Tarun Rathore, Ishpreet Kaur and Harpreet Singh. All participants made achievements reward in Taekwondo championship, due to hard core enthusiasm of coach Mr. Manjinder Singh. The championship provides all participants an opportunity to demonstrate their highest physical and mental development with fostering ideals and spirit of taekwondo alongwith friendship in the realm of sports. The selected players of this championship would be eligible to participate in the forthcoming National Taekwondo Championship, Kolkata. Managing Directors Mr. Bhupinder Singh and Mrs. Gunwant Kaur along with Vice Principal Mrs. Poonam Dogra congratulated and motivated all participants and their coach Mr. Manjinder Singh.
